Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has created a range of challenges for UK theme parks including event cancellations and temporary closures.

Some theme parks in the UK remain open so please expect to see a number of initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe environment including enhanced cleaning regimes, increased availability of hand sanitisation products and adoption of best practices recommended by Government and Public Health England.

Alton Towers has taken the decision to postpone their opening. See here.

Thorpe Park has decided to postpone their opening and cancel the passholder preview day on Saturday 21st March. They had previously only decided to postpone the Saturday Night KISS x Thorpe Park Launch Party that was due to take place on 21st March. See here.

Chessington World of Adventures will be closed from Saturday 21st March. See here.

LEGOLAND Windsor will be closed from 5pm on Friday 20th March. See here.

Drayton Manor has announced that the park will temporarily close until further notice. See here.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach will not open this weekend and will now remain closed. See here.

Paultons Park will be closed from 5pm on Friday 20th March. See here.

Flamingo Land will delay their summer season opening. See here.

Lightwater Valley has decided to postpone their opening. See here.

Oakwood Theme Park has decided to postpone their opening. See here.

Fantasy Island will not open its rides and family entertainment centre this weekend and fully expects to be closed throughout Easter. See here.

Dreamland Margate will not reopen for Easter and events scheduled for the next six weeks will be postponed where possible. See here.

Gulliver's Theme Parks are now closed. See here.

West Midland Safari & Leisure Park will now temporarily close until further notice. See here.

Due to the escalated Government advice, UK theme parks may cancel events or temporarily close with little warning. For this reason please check with individual hotels and attractions before making a trip.
