PAW Patrol to get UK's first and only themed land at Chessington in 2026

Chessington World of Adventures Resort is set to welcome the UK’s first and only PAW Patrol-themed land in 2026, thanks to a partnership between Merlin Entertainments and Paramount.

The multi-million-pound investment will bring the globally popular pre-school brand, produced by Spin Master Entertainment, to life with immersive experiences for young visitors and their families.

Spanning 1.4 acres, the new area is specifically designed with children aged between 2 and 5, offering an colourful adventure zone tailored to preschoolers and their families. It will replace much of the current Mexicana area, the YooHoo Children’s Zoo, and the picnic space behind the Croc Drop attraction, transforming this section of the park into a vibrant and imaginative new land.

The attraction will be themed around PAW Patrol’s iconic Adventure Bay, brought to life through detailed landscaping and storytelling that reflects the pups’ roles as everyday community heroes. Four themed rides will feature in the land, including a gentle, beginner-friendly rollercoaster perfect for young first-time riders. Guests can also expect interactive play zones, live character meet-and-greets, a PAW Patrol-themed food and drink outlet, ample picnic space, and a bespoke retail store filled with merchandise.

The collaboration is part of Merlin Entertainments’ ongoing strategy to expand its offering to families with young children — a key growth demographic for the company. It follows similar moves like the recent partnership with Minecraft, reinforcing Merlin’s drive to bring well-known intellectual properties to its global attractions.

Development of the new land will be a joint effort between Paramount's creative team and Merlin Magic Making — the design and innovation arm that's behind some of Merlin’s most successful attractions worldwide.
